Condition

• Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
• Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
• Paint chips in a few places (see photos), however, these are normal with older steel doors – a professional refurbishment service will make the door look as new.
• Small bend on the corner of a sidelight and on the main lock bolt (we have straightened this out and the door open and closes) (see last photos), but can be repaired easily.
• Locking plate is broken (see last photos), replacement can be purchased online at a low expense – we have straightened this out and the door does open and close without issues.
• One glass pane is missing and four other glass panes are broken (see photos). However, if you intend to sandblast and repaint this item, the glass would need to be entirely replaced anyway. Please see ‘Glazing’ section for more info.

Security

• Has bolt locks on the inside for extra security.
• Multi-point ‘Union’ locking system.
• ‘Union’ keys for the main lock are missing, however, it can easily be purchased online at a low expense.

Opening

• Externally opening doors.
• When viewing from the outside, the main traffic door is located on the left.

Sidelight / Window

• There are two sidelights of equal width. Each sidelight is 51.5cm in width.
• Just the frame width is 114.4cm.
• The width with just one sidelight is 165.9cm.

Glazing

• Glazing is original, single glazed, and clear.
• Each pane is separately glazed, making it easier to replace any if required and offers extra security.
• It also gives that high quality appearance with the Georgian Bars externally and internally.
• As mentioned above, we offer a fully refurbishing and re-painting service on this product, in your choice of colour.
• This would cost a total of £995 including VAT.
• The putty, glazing & furniture is hand removed by ourselves and the product delivered to a highly rated, local sand blasting company.
• See 4th example photo of a set we had re-sprayed in black. We have lots more photos on request or a more in depth specification of the coating if required.
• Please note the glazing can’t be saved when the doors are stripped, so this would need to be replaced. This would also need to be putty filled and installed by your fitter.
• We can order new glazing in at the costs below:
• Single glazed (toughened) units: £360 total including VAT.
• Double glazed 14mm (Toughened, Argon Gas, Pilkington KS, Low E) units: £785 total including VAT.
• We can order any type of glazing at an extra cost: Laminated, Tinted, Leaded, Frosted etc.

Colour

• The colour externally and internally is painted White, with a matching frame either side. However, this can easily be stripped down and be repainted in your choice of colour.
• The colour of the handles is Silver and the hinges are painted White.
