We understand that sometimes an item may meet your requirements but is just outside your budget. In such cases, you are welcome to submit an offer. Wooden Front Door in White, bespoke made to the highest quality by award-winning ‘Timber Windows’.
Would cost around £3,500 if you were to order new direct (when complete with frame).
The door thickness is 6cm compared to the standard factory 4.4cm.
Maintenance free and are designed not to twist/ warp like cheaper doors can do.
We are not sure exactly what type of wood this door is made from, however, it is solid and very heavy duty.
Condition
Ex-showroom and was fitted in a showroom for 6-12 months, so has had no real use.
Some cosmetic marks/ chips in places, but could be filled/ painted over- see photos.
Not bowed or rotted at all.
Missing parts:
There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
Handles, Door Knocker, locking plates and hinges missing, however these can be purchased online or from your local merchant at a low expense.
Colour
The colour externally and internally is Matt White.
Has Black hinges but these would need to be replaced due to only having half of them.
Operating / Style
Previously installed to open Inwards to the right when being opened from the outside.
There is a lip around the edge of the door which falls into the frame, so can only operate as mentioned above. The measurements taken are of the widest part of the door.
Security
5 point ‘FUHR’ locking system making it very secure.
Has a new barrel and comes complete with 3 keys.
Ideal if you’re after some high quality door at a fraction of the original price, as to order these new direct would cost considerably more.
