1930s Reclaimed Wooden (Timber) Front Door Bespoke made to the highest quality.
Carefully removed by professional fitters.
Condition
- Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
- Not bowed or rotted at all.
- The side of the door has been planed down by a few millimeters (see photos) so the edge is slightly uneven. However, a competent carpenter would be able to rectify this.
- Small split on the rain sill (see photos), but this could be removed if necessary or repaired by a carpenter.
- The paint is peeling on both sides of the door, as is expected on reclaimed wooden items. This door could benefit from being re-painted.
Missing Parts
- There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
Security
- Multipoint locking system making it very secure.
- Comes with 1 ‘Yale’ key.
Opening
- The door opens inwards to the left when viewing from the outside.
- Hinges/ locks could be altered (holes may need to be filled) if you wanted the door opening/ operating another way.
Glazing
- Glazing is original, single glazed, distorted, stained.
- Decorative leaded glass with each pane individually glazed, which makes them easier to replace if broken.
Colour
- The colour externally is pink and internally is White.
- The hinges are Solid Brass.
