1930s Original reclaimed/antique Wooden Hardwood, Front Door in Green.
Carefully removed by professional fitters.
Condition
- Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
- Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
- Not bowed or rotted at all.
- There are screw holes and chips in the wood on either side (see photos) which could be easily filled.
- There is a small crack on the edge of the door (see photos), however a competent carpenter would be able to resolve this.
- The paint is bubbled and chipped on either side, as is expected on older wooden items. This item could benefit from being sanded and repainted.
Missing Parts
- There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
- Main lock would need to be changed as there is no key
Security
- 1 locking system making it very secure.
Opening
- The door opens inwards to the left when viewing from the outside.
Glazing
- Glazing is original single glazed, distorted.
- Has Georgian Bars externally & internally with each pane separately glazed, which provides added security and makes them easier to replace if broken.
Colour
- The colour externally is Green and internally is White.
- The hinges have been painted White.
