1930s Original reclaimed/antique Wooden Front Door.
This door has been professionally re-leaded, and had new original stained glass installed. It has also had the locks/hardware removed and the holes filled. This has very rare stained glass, this item would cost £1500, if you were going to get this type of glazing bespoke fitted into a door like this.
Condition
- Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
- Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
- Not bowed or rotted at all.
- Light marks to the paint on both sides of door, but this item would benefit from being repainted (see photos).
- Screw holes on the internal side of the door, but this can easily be filled (see photos).
- The hardware has been removed from this door by the previous owner and the holes have been filled (see photos).
Missing Parts
- There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
- Hinges, Locks, Letterbox cover, Handles are missing, however these can all be purchased online and are easy to fit.
Opening
- There is no hardware for this door, so your fitter or carpenter would need to modify it to open in any way of your choosing.
Glazing
- Glazing is leaded stained glass, single glazed.
- Has leaded bars, with each pane individually glazed.
Colour
- The colour externally and internally is Grey. However, this item could easily be sanded down and repainted in your choice of colour.
