1930s Wooden Front Door
1930s Original reclaimed/antique Wooden Hardwood, Front Door.
Carefully removed by professional fitters.
Condition
- Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
- Not bowed or rotted at all.
- Light chipping in areas (see photos), this does not effect the function of the door and could be easily filled/touched up.
- Main locking mechanism is missing (see photos); you can purchase a replacement online.
- Small screw hole (see photos), this can easily be filled.
Missing Parts
- There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
- Locks would need to be changed as there is no key.
Security
- Multipoint locking system making it very secure.
Opening
- The door opens inwards to the right when viewing from the outside.
- Hinges/locks could be altered so the door opens the other way (holes would need to be filled).
Glazing
- Glazing is 18mm thick triple glazed, distorted metal silver spacer bar, Low E, filled with Argon gas for extra efficiency.
- There is no condensation occurring inside the panes.
- Has a leaded & beveled diamond design internally inside the glazing with a colourful stained glass design.
Colour
- Varnished on either side, showing the natural woodgrain throughout.
- Has matching Solid Brass coloured furniture.
