1930s Hardwood Green Front Door
1930s Original Reclaimed Wooden Hardwood, Front Door.
Bespoke made by a professional joinery company to a very high standard.
Carefully removed by professional fitters.
Condition
- Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
- Not bowed or rotted at all.
- The paint is chipped in various places on either side, as is expected on antique wooden items. This item could benefit from being sanded and repainted.
- The wood is split on one edge of the door (See photos) which could be rectified by a competent carpenter.
- The panel is bulging slightly (see photos), which could also be rectified by a competent carpenter.
- Screw holes (see photos), these are only cosmetic and can be filled.
Missing Parts
- There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
- Main lock would need to be changed as there is no key
- Internal letterbox is missing (see photos), you can purchase a replacement online which is easy to fit.
Security
- Multipoint ‘Yale’ locking system making it very secure.
Opening
- The door opens inwards to the left when viewing from the outside.
Glazing
- Glazing is original single glazed, distorted.
- Has Georgian Bars internally with each pane individually glazed, making them easier to replace if broken.
Colour
- The colour externally is Green and internally is White.
- Has matching Silver coloured furniture.
