1930s Original reclaimed/antique Wooden Hardwood Front Door.

Carefully removed by professional fitters.

Condition

• Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
• Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
• Not bowed or rotted at all.
• The paint is worn/weathered on either side, as is expected on antique wooden doors. Both sides would benefit from being repainted.
• There is a small crack in the glazing (see photos), which could be replaced by a competent glazier.
• Wood is chipped slightly on one corner (see photos) which could be filled and touched up.

Missing Parts

• There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
• Main lock would need to be changed as there is no key

Security

• Multipoint ‘Yale’ and ‘ERA’ locking system making it very secure.

Opening

• The door opens inwards to the left when viewing from the outside.
• Hinges/ locks could be altered (holes may need to be filled) if you wanted the door opening/ operating another way.

Glazing

• Glazing is single glazed, distorted.
• Has Georgian Bars externally & internally giving a high-quality appearance. These cannot be removed, so if you required completely clear glass, you would need to replace all the units.
• Has leaded pattern design externally & internally on the glazing.
• Stain glass (Helps to regulate a buildings temperature, increases privacy and offers sun protection).
• Decorative leaded glass, design on the glazing.

Colour

• The colour externally and internally is White.
• Has matching Silver coloured furniture.
