Reclaimed Antique 1930s Wooden Timber Front Door.
Carefully removed by professional fitters.
This item would cost around £3,000 to purchase from a reclamation yard.
Condition
- Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
- Not bowed or rotted at all.
- There is no frame for this item.
- Main lock would need to be changed as there is no key.
- 1 of the hinges is slightly bent and there is no external letter box flap.
- Some rot in 2 places on the top edge of the top light/window- see last photos. This could be restored/repaired by a competent carpenter.
Opening
- The door previously opened inwards to the right when viewing from the outside.
Toplight / Window
- The top light / window is 39.2cm in height and 102.1 cm in width.
- This could be installed as either a top light or a side window.
Glazing
- Glazing is single glazed.
- Original Leaded Stained Glass, which is very strong with no chips/ cracks.
- There is a second layer of clear glazing attached to the internal side of the door for added protection and insulation. This is secured with screws and could be removed if desired.
Colour
- The door has been painted Grey externally and internally.
- The colour of top light is White.
- Has matching Silver coloured furniture.
