Solid Oak Varnished Front Door
Wooden Solid Oak Front Door.
Bespoke made by a professional joinery company to a very high standard.
Would cost around £2,000 if you were to order new direct.
The door thickness is 4.6cm compared to the standard factory 4.4cm.
The door comes with two sidelights which have been cut off so the wood is supplied so you can use as a template if you decide to used them again. It also comes with 5 pieces of leaded glass and we are guessing that two were for the sidelights and a larger one was for a top light but we have no frame for the top light.
Condition
• Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
• Not bowed or rotted at all.
Missing Parts/Defects
Two pieces of beading are broken.
Cracks in one of the glass panes.
Screw holes on top frame and internal side of the door, can easily be covered with some furniture.
The bottom of the door frame has been cut for removal so this will need to be replaced and is effectively the sill.
Please see last photo(s) relating to the defects.
Security
• multipoint point ‘Union’ locking system making it very secure.
• Comes with 1 ‘Yale’ key.
Opening
• The door opens inwards to the right when viewing from the outside.
Sidelight / Window
This item comes with top light piece of glass, however we are not sure what the measurements are of the frame as it has been cut off and not supplied but we have the glazing.
There are two sidelights of equal width. Each sidelight is 42cm in width.
Just the frame width is 102cm.
The width with just one sidelight is 144cm.
The width if using both sidelights would be 186cm.
Glazing
• Glazing is original single glazed, distorted in the port hole but clear in the sidelights and top light.
• Has leaded diamond design externally on the glazing.
• It comes with 5 original clear panes of leaded glass some of these are cracked in places.
Colour
• The colour externally and internally is Varnished,
• The colour of the handles is Black.
