Refurbishment process and costs:
- The furniture, putty and glazing is removed by our in-house team, before being sent off to be professionally sand-blasted and re-sprayed/ powder coated in the colour of your choice (please see photos for the processing steps & an example of some previously refurbished).
- Stripping, sandblasting and respraying costs £845.00 including VAT (your installer would be required to reassemble).
- Unfortunately we are unable to salvage old glazing due to it breaking easily on removal, but we can supply new glazing for your glacier to fit.
- If you are considering fitting double glazed units into your Crittall product, you need to be aware that the rebate will limit the thickness of the glazing unit.
- Using glazing tape and mastic, most glaziers are happy to fit up to 14mm double glazing although most would prefer 12mm glazed units.
- It’s always best to check with your glazier before ordering (we are happy to provide rebate details where we can).
