Condition

• Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
• Excellent condition both sides.
• Paint chips in a few places (see photos), however, these are normal with older steel doors – a professional refurbishment service will make the door look as new.
• Light chip on the putty that secures the glazing externally (see last photos), but it is only cosmetic and would not affect the integrity of the product at all – putty can be reapplied easily.
• Two glass panes on the door and a glass pane on a window are broken, also, the leaded design is missing on another pane (see last photos). However, if you intend to sandblast and repaint this item, the glass would need to be entirely replaced anyway. Please see ‘Glazing’ section for more info.
• One screw hole internally on the door (see last photos), which could easily be filled and touched up.

Security

• Has bolt locks on the inside for extra security.
• Multi-point ‘Union’ locking system making it very secure.
• Comes with 1 ‘Union’ key.

Opening

• Externally opening doors.
• When viewing from the outside, the main traffic door is located on the left.

Sidelight / Window

• There are two side-windows of equal width. Each side-window is 51cm in width.
• Just the frame width is 114.7cm.
• The width with just one window is 165.7cm.

Glazing

• Glazing is original, single glazed and clear.
• Has leaded diamond design stuck internally on the glazing.
• As mentioned above, we offer a fully refurbishing and re-painting service on this product, in your choice of colour.
• This would cost a total of £895 including VAT.
• The putty, glazing & furniture is hand removed by ourselves and the product delivered to a highly rated, local sand blasting company.
• See 4th example photo of a set we had re-sprayed in black. We have lots more photos on request or a more in depth specification of the coating if required.
• Please note the glazing can’t be saved when the doors are stripped, so this would need to be replaced. This would also need to be putty filled and installed by your fitter.
• We can order new glazing in at the costs below:
• Single glazed (toughened) units: £225 total including VAT.
• Double glazed 14mm (Toughened, Argon Gas, Pilkington KS, Low E) units: £495 total including VAT.
• We can order any type of glazing at an extra cost: Laminated, Tinted, Leaded, Frosted etc.

Colour

• The colour externally and internally is painted White, with a matching frame either side. However, this can easily be stripped down and be repainted in your choice of colour.
• The handles are Solid Brass and the hinges are painted White.
