Reclaimed 1930s Wooden Hardwood French Doors, bespoke made by a professional joinery company to a very high standard.
Carefully removed by professional fitters.
Condition
- Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
- Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
- Not bowed or rotted at all.
- Screw holes internally (see photos), which could be easily filled.
- Small crack in beading and rain sill (see photos), which could be repaired or replaced by a competent carpenter.
- Missing hinges (see photos), which could be purchased online and installed by your fitter.
- The paint and varnish are weathered on either side, as is expected on pre-owned wooden items. These doors could benefit from being sanded and repainted.
Missing Parts
- There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
- Main lock would need to be changed as there is no key.
Security
- Multipoint locking system making it very secure.
Opening
- Internally opening doors.
- When viewing from the outside, the main traffic door is located on the right.
Glazing
- Glazing is single glazed, clear.
- Has leaded bars externally and internally on the glazing.
Colour
- The colour externally is White and internally has been Varnished so the natural woodgrain still shows throughout.
- The colour of the internal handle is Gold.
- The external handle is Solid Brass.
