Original vintage Crittall Steel French doors.

Carefully removed by professional installers.

Comes fully complete with nothing missing ready to be re-installed.

‘Crittall’ are still manufacturing windows & doors today. To order these new direct you would be looking at over £5,500 including VAT- see quotation for a similar sized set in photos. This price does not even include glazing.

Condition

Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
Odd faint/ light mark in places, but nothing exactly noticeable.
There is residual mastic at the edges of the frame which could be removed, but would be hidden with trim when installed.

Missing Parts / Defects

Defects:

Key only seems to lock the door from the inside- so would need looking at if you wanted it locking from the outside.

One tiny glass pane under handle is cracked- but we can easily replace this.

Colour

The colour externally and internally is White, with a matching frame either side. This paint is flaking in places so you may want to apply a fresh coat or strip down to the original steel.

Has Solid brass hinges with Solid brass handles.

Operating / Style

Externally opening doors.
When viewing from the outside, the main traffic door is located on the Left.

Security

Multipoint locking system with bolts on inside top and bottom.
Comes with 1 key.

Glazing

Glazing is original, single glazed and Clear.
Has leaded Georgian Bars both sides of the glazing.

Glazing:

Double Glazed is of the highest quality: Pilkington KS energy efficiency, Low E, Toughened, Argon Gas filled with a U-value of 1.2 or less.

Single glazed glass would just be toughened.

We can order any type of glazing required at an extra cost: Laminated, Tinted, Leaded, Frosted etc
