Traditional Steel Crittall French Doors, dating back to around 100 years old.

Carefully removed by professional installers and come fully complete ready to be re-installed.

Condition

• Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
• Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
• 1 light mark on the top left corner of the frame (see photos), which could be touched up.
• Slight discolouration to the spacer bar due to weathering. This is purely cosmetic and has not affected the integrity of the glazing.
• 1 of the side lights will need the glazing installed by your fitter, and the other side light will need glazing tape and putty to secure the glazing into the frame.
• There are no fixing screws with this item (for securing the hinges to the frame), however these can be purchased online at a low expense.

Security

• Multipoint ‘Union’ locking system making it very secure.
• Main lock would need to be changed as there is no key.

Opening

• Externally opening doors.
• When viewing from the outside, the main traffic door is located on the right.

Sidelight / Window

• There are two sidelights of equal width. Each sidelight is 39.7cm in width.
• Just the frame width is 159.1cm.
• The width with just one sidelight is 198.8cm.

Glazing

Glazing is original, double glazed, and clear.

As mentioned above, we offer a fully refurbishing and re-painting service on this product, in your choice of colour.

This would cost a total of £800.00 including VAT.

The putty, glazing & furniture is hand removed by ourselves and the product delivered to a highly rated, local sand blasting company.

See 4th example photo of a set we had re-sprayed in black. We have lots more photos on request or a more in depth specification of the coating if required.

Please note the glazing can’t be saved when the doors are stripped, so this would need to be replaced. This would also need to be putty filled and installed by your fitter.

We can order new glazing in at the costs below:

• Single glazed (toughened) units: £160.00 total including VAT.
• Double glazed 14mm (Toughened, Argon Gas, Pilkington KS, Low E) units: £345.00 total including VAT.

We can order any type of glazing at an extra cost: Laminated, Tinted, Leaded, Frosted etc.

Colour

• The colour externally and internally is White, with a matching frame either side.
• The colour of the handles is Silver and the colour of the hinges is White.
