Wooden Timber Front Door, made by ‘Timber Windows’.
This is one of the highest quality doors on the market, designed not to twist/ warp like cheaper factory made doors can after just a couple of years.
The door thickness is 5.9cm compared to the standard factory 4.4cm.

Its also professionally power coated, so requires no maintenance.

Would cost around £3,500.00 if you were to order new direct with a frame.

There is no frame for this “Timber Windows” door. On occasions we have had customers purchasing and struggling to make up a suitable frame. This is due to the lip around the edge of the door itself (see photos), so please make sure you have a competent carpenter to hand.

We do have some of these doors complete with frames, so if you require photos of how they are manufactured please contact us.

Condition

• Installed for 6 weeks, but replaced due to being the wrong specification.
• Not bowed or rotted at all.
• Odd light cosmetic mark- see photos.
• There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
• Main lock would need to be changed as there is no barrel.
• Hinges, Barrel, Door Knocker locking plates and escutcheon missing, however these can be purchased online at a low expense.

Security

• 6 point ‘FUHR’ locking system making it very secure.

Opening

• The door opens inwards to the left when viewing from the outside.

Glazing

• Glazing is double glazed, frosted, toughened with grey warm edge spacer bar, Low E, filled with Argon gas for extra efficiency.
• There is no condensation occurring inside the pane/s.

Colour

• The colour externally and internally is matt Grey RAL 7032.
• Powder coating offers a tough and resilient coating with a high quality finish, requiring no maintenance.

Item needs to be installed within 2 months and photos need to be given of the item fitted. We get all there details and fensa approved number, and then we will have fitters around the county thats able to install our items.
