1930s Reclaimed Wooden Front Door, Bespoke made to the highest quality.
Carefully removed by professional fitters.
Condition
- Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
- Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
- Not bowed or rotted at all.
- Small cracks in the glazing (see photos), but this could be replaced by a competent glazier.
- The paint is peeling/weathered on both sides as is expected on older wooden doors. This item could benefit from being sanded and repainted.
- Screw holes on both sides of the door, but these could easily be filled.
- The rain sill has been removed (see photos), however this could easily be reattached.
Missing Parts
- There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
Security
- Multipoint locking system making it very secure.
- Comes with 5 keys.
Opening
- The door opens inwards to the left when viewing from the outside.
- Hinges/ locks could be altered (holes may need to be filled) if you wanted the door opening/ operating another way.
Glazing
- Glazing is original single glazed, distorted.
- Has leaded pattern with each pane individually glazed, which gives a high quality appearance and makes them easier to replace if broken.
Colour
- The colour externally is Cream and internally is Green.
- The colour of the handles is Gold and the colour of the hinges is Black.
