1930s Wooden Timber Front Door, bespoke made to the highest quality.

Carefully removed by  professional fitters.

Condition

• Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
• Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
• Not bowed or rotted at all.
• Missing/broken hinges (see photos), but replacements could be purchased online and fitted easily.
• Screw holes on the external side (see photos), however these could be easily filled.
• The paint is weathered on either side, as is expected on older wooden items. This door could benefit from being sanded and repainted.
• Two panes of glass are cracked (see photos), however each pane is individually glazed which makes them easier to replace.
• A section of the timber is missing on the door’s edge (see photos), however, a competent carpenter would be able to fill/repair this.

Missing Parts

• There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
• Main lock would need to be changed as there is no key

Security

• Has bolt locks on the inside for extra security.
• 4 point locking system making it very secure.

Opening

• The door opens inwards to the left when viewing from the outside.

Glazing

• Glazing is original single glazed, leaded,  stained and distorted, with a floral pattern in the middle.
• Each pane is separately glazed, making it easier to replace any if required and offers extra security. It also gives that high quality appearance with the leaded Georgian Bars externally and internally.

Colour

• The colour externally is Purple and internally is White.
• The colour of the handles is Chrome.
