Reclaimed 1930s Wooden Timber Front Door, bespoke made to the highest quality.
Carefully removed by professional fitters.
Condition
- Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
- Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
- The paint is weathered on either side, as is expected on pre own wooden items. This door could benefit from being sanded and repainted.
- Screw holes on the internal side (see photos). These could easily be filled.
- Missing the knocker (see photos), however, these are all available to purchase online and are easy to fit.
- Small split in the rain sill (see photos), but this could be repaired by a competent carpenter.
- Signs of rot on the surface of both sides (see photos), however, this could also be rectified by a competent carpenter.
- One of the front panels is slightly bowed (see photos), however, this could be repaired/replaced by a competent carpenter.
Missing Parts
- There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
- Main lock would need to be changed as there is no key.
Security
- Multipoint locking system making it very secure.
Opening
- The door opens inwards to the right when viewing from the outside.
Glazing
- Glazing is 20mm thick double glazed, clear, metal silver spacer bar, Low E, filled with Argon gas for extra efficiency.
- There is no condensation occurring inside the pane/s.
- Each pane is separately glazed, making it easier to replace any if required and offers extra security. It also gives that high quality appearance with the Georgian Bars externally and internally.
Colour
- The colour externally is Black and internally is White.
- The colour of the handles is Black and the colour of the hinges is Silver.
