Wooden Solid Oak Front Door.
Bespoke made by a professional joinery company to a very high standard.
Carefully removed by professional fitters.
Condition
- Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
- Odd faint/ light mark in places, but nothing exactly noticeable. Overall still its in excellent condition both sides.
- There is residual mastic at the edges of the frame which could be removed, but would be hidden with trim when installed.
- Not bowed or rotted at all.
- The external side is slightly weathered, as you would expect to see on a pre-owned wooden door.
- The sill and rain sill are worn/chipped in a few places, which could be easily touched up.
- Paint flecks on the interior side of the door in a few locations which could be removed with a solvent cleaner if desired.
- Marks around the edges of the frame from the previous installation, which would be hidden with trim when the door is installed again.
- The external side of the cat flap is scratched – this is a purely cosmetic defect, and a replacement flap could be purchased online at a low expense.
Security
- 4 point ‘Chubb’ locking system including additional bolt locks on the inside, making it very secure.
- Main locks would need to be changed as there is no key for either lock.
Opening
- The door opens inwards to the left when viewing from the outside.
- Hinges/ locks could be altered (holes may need to be filled) if you wanted the door opening/ operating another way.
Glazing
- Glazing is original single-glazed, distorted Crown Glass.
Colour
- The colour externally and internally is Brown, with a matching frame either side. It has been varnished for added protection while still showing the natural wood-grain throughout.
- The handles Black wrought iron and the hinges are Solid Brass.
