1930s Reclaimed Wooden Hardwood Front Door.
Carefully removed by professional fitters.
Condition
- Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
- Not bowed or rotted at all.
- External side is weathered, as is expected on reclaimed wooden items. This door could benefit from being sanded and re-varnished.
- Letterbox is missing on external side (see photos), this can be purchased online and is easy to fit.
- Screw holes (see photos) which could easily be filled.
Missing Parts
- There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
- Main lock would need to be changed as there is no key

- Multipoint ‘ERA’ locking system making it very secure.
Opening
- The door opens inwards to the left when viewing from the outside.
Glazing
- Glazing is original single glazed, frosted.
- Has Georgian Bars with each pane individually glazed, making them easier to replace if broken.

- The colour externally and internally is Brown (Golden Oak).

🌍 Purchasing pre-loved and surplus items reduces the demand for new products, thereby decreasing carbon emissions and the use of raw materials. Reusing materials is the best practice instead of buying brand new. All our items are carbon neutral because we do not manufacture them; they are excess items that would otherwise end up in landfills or recycling centers.
