High quality Wooden Timber Bi-Folding Doors, made to the highest quality by a professional joinery company. They are extremely heavy and well made, each door requires at least two people to even lift it.
Would cost around £10,000 if you were to order new direct and are not to be compared with cheaper factory made doors.
The door thickness is 7.1cm compared to the standard factory 4.4cm.
Condition
Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
There is residual mastic at the edges of the frame which could be removed, but would be hidden with trim when installed.
Not bowed or rotted at all.
-Few light chips/ marks to the paint in places, but nothing that couldn’t be touched up.
-Chip out of the bottom sill.
All defects are only cosmetic and do not affect the operation of the product at all.
Security
3 point ‘GU’ locking system making it very secure and have had a new barrel fitted so come complete with 3 keys.
Opening
Externally opening & stacking doors.
Doors open in twos, with the left two doors opening first, when viewing from the outside (there is no main traffic door). When fully open all doors stack to the right.
Doors are top hung.
There are no exterior handles, so they can only be opened/ locked from the inside- this offers higher security and gives a more aesthetically pleasing appearance externally.
The bottom sill is hardwood.
Glazing
Glazing is 28mm thick double glazed, clear, toughened with metal white spacer bar, Low E, filled with Argon gas for extra efficiency.
There is no condensation occurring inside the panes.
Colour
The doors and frame have been professional power coated both sides in matt white.
Powder coating offers a tough and resilient coating with a high quality finish, requiring no maintenance.
The furniture is all chrome of very high quality as you would expect and is made by ‘Centor’.
