1930s Reclaimed Wooden (Timber) Pine Stable Door.
Carefully removed by professional fitters.
Condition
- Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
- Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
- Not bowed at all.
- The bottom rain sill is rotten (see photos), however, this could be replaced by a competent carpenter.
- One pane of glazing is broken. However, a replacement pane will be delivered along with the door, ready to be installed by your fitter.
- Light chips to the wood in various places (see photos) which could be easily filled and touched up.
- Missing hinges (see photos), you can order these online and they can be installed by your fitter.
- The paint is weathered and chipped, as is expected on older wooden items. This door could benefit from being repainted.
Missing Parts
- There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
- Main lock would need to be changed as there is no key
Security
- Multipoint ‘Yale’ locking system making it very secure.
Opening
- The door opens inwards to the right when viewing from the outside.
Glazing
- Glazing is original single glazed, clear.
- Has Georgian bars externally and internally, with each pane individually glazed – this makes them easier to replace if broken.
Colour
- The colour externally is Black and internally is White.
- Has matching Silver coloured furniture.
