1930s Original reclaimed/antique Wooden timber front Door bespoke made to the highest quality.
Carefully removed by professional fitters.
Condition
- Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
- Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
- Not bowed or rotted at all.
- Missing the door knob and the knocker (see photos), however these are available to purchase online.
- One pane of glass is cracked and would need to be replaced (see photos).
- Wood split in places (see photos), this could easily be filled/repaired by a competent carpenter.
- Screw holes on the internal side (see photos), however these could be filled easily.
- The paint is weathered on either side, as is expected on older wooden items. This door could benefit from being sanded and repainted.
Missing Parts
- There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
- Main lock would need to be changed as there is no key
Security
- 3 point locking system making it very secure.
Opening
- The door opens inwards to the right when viewing from the outside.
- Hinges/ locks could be altered (holes may need to be filled) if you wanted the door opening/ operating another way.
Glazing
- Glazing is single glazed, frosted.
Colour
- The colour externally and internally is Black.
- The colour of the hinges is Silver.
