1930s Original reclaimed/antique Wooden Front Door in Black, bespoke made to a very high standard.

Carefully removed by professional fitters.

Condition

• Pre-owned and has been previously installed.
• Not bowed at all.
• Signs of light rot on the bottom of the door (see photo) however this could be treated by a competent carpenter.
• Light cosmetic marks in a few places which are normal with older wooden doors, but these could be easily touched up (see photos) – this door could benefit from being repainted.
• Slight cracks in a few of the stained glass panes (see photo) but they could be replaced by a competent glazier.

Missing Parts

• There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible.
• Door knocker, and Internal Letter box cover are missing, however, these can be purchased online at a low expense and are easy to fit.

Security

• Has bolt locks on the inside for extra security.
• Multipoint locking system making it very secure.
• Main lock would need to be changed as there is no key.

Opening

• The door opens inwards to the left when viewing from the outside.
• Could be modified to open the other way, although some cutting/filling would be required by your carpenter.

Glazing

• Glazing is original, single glazed, distorted , and stained in multiple colours.
• Has Georgian Bars with each pane individually glazed, giving a high-quality appearance.

Colour

• The colour externally is Black and internally is White.
• The hinges are Brass, and have been painted Black.
